Questions and Answers (FAQ)
Will the machine make milk coffee automatically?
Yes! All presented models from the new LUND line feature an automatic milk frothing system. Just fill the milk container, press the appropriate button on the panel, and the machine will prepare a drink with ideal proportions on its own.
What is the difference between a capsule and an ESE pod?
Capsules (supported by model 68502) are a popular format that seals coffee in small containers – they are quick and widely available in supermarkets in many flavors. ESE pods (Easy Serving Espresso - model 68503) are tamped, ground coffee sealed in an eco-friendly paper filter (similar to a tea bag). ESE gives a result closer to traditional portafilter espresso, and the paper filter is more environmentally friendly.
Can the model with a grinder be used only with coffee beans?
No! Although we created model 68501 with lovers of freshly ground beans in mind (up to 20 grind size settings!), you can always use ready-ground coffee.
How often should I clean the milk system?
To maintain hygiene and perfect milk flavor, we recommend running steam (auto-cleaning function) immediately after each milk coffee. Removable elements (milk container, tube) should be washed under running water or in a dishwasher at the end of the day. LUND models are equipped with systems that make quick "one-click" cleaning easy.
