The radio powers with a rechargeable 18V system battery or with electricity from a wall outlet (adapter included).

For music playback, the devicecan be paired with a smartphone or headphones via bluetooth. A phone can also be connected via USB cable. The radio also has a standard output for connecting wired headphones.
