Information on waste electrical and electronic equipment

The symbol of the crossed-out wheeled waste container on the products informs that waste electrical and electronic equipment (hereinafter also “waste equipment” or “electronic waste”) cannot be disposed of with municipal waste. Disposing of electronic waste in the container poses a threat to the environment.

By sorting waste equipment and sending it for processing, recovery, recycling, or disposal, you protect the environment against pollution and contamination and contribute to reducing the use of natural resources and reducing the costs of producing new equipment.

Waste electrical and electronic equipment from households, no dimension of which exceeds 25 cm, may be disposed of without the need to purchase new equipment, in retail stores with an area of at least 400 m2 dedicated to the retail sale of electrical and electronic equipment.

Information on waste electrical and electronic equipment

1. Waste electrical and electronic equipment should not be disposed of with other waste.
2. The holder of waste equipment from households is obliged to hand it over to a waste equipment collector or an entity authorised to collect waste equipment.
3. The seller is obliged to collect waste equipment from households free of charge at the point of sale, provided that the waste equipment is of the same type and performed the same functions as the equipment sold – the seller collects waste equipment at the following address:
   “TOYA” S.A., ul. Sołtysowicka 13-15, 51-168 Wrocław.
4. When delivering equipment intended for households to the Customer, the seller is obliged to collect waste equipment from households free of charge at the place of delivery of the equipment, provided that the waste equipment is of the same type and performed the same functions as the delivered equipment.
5. A seller running a retail store with a sales area within the meaning of Article 2 point 19 of the Act of 27 March 2003 on Spatial Planning and Development (Polish Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1945, as amended) amounting to at least 400 m2, dedicated to the sale of equipment intended for households, is obliged to accept free of charge, in that store or in its immediate vicinity, waste equipment from households, none of the external dimensions of which exceeds 25 cm, without the need to purchase new equipment intended for households. The seller collects waste equipment at the following address:
   “TOYA” S.A., ul. Sołtysowicka 13-15, 51-168 Wrocław.
6. The operator of the service point may ensure free acceptance of waste equipment if the repair of the equipment accepted at the service point is impossible for technical reasons or when the owner of the equipment decides that repairing the equipment is unprofitable for them.
