SOLDERING GUN 80 W
- Lutownica oporowa 80 W marki Yato. Przeznaczona do łączenia materiałów metalowych za pomocą spoiw cynowo - ołowiowych do lutowania miękkiego.
A flask soldering iron YT-8273 in a traditional housing with a resistance heater powered directly from a wall outlet. The simplicity of the design makes the device almost failure-free, and with proper care of the soldering iron tip will serve for many years. The power of the heater is sufficient to properly solder two copper wires, basic electronics in through-hole assembly technology or for work involving the connection of stained glass elements, jewelry using the Tiffany method. The high-quality coated copper tip ensures faster heat accumulation and dissipation than standard tips, and the touch-friendly two-component handle with an anti-slip element further improves safety in use.

How to take care of a soldering iron tip
The rotors of Yato flask soldering irons are coated with a material that reduces the oxidation of the tip. Prolonged heating and mechanical damage gradually degrade the protective layer, then the tip quickly oxidizes resulting in problems with melting the solder joint. Instead of melting and sticking to the soldering tip, the tin peens and falls off. A proven way to take care of the tip is to tin it. When first warming up the soldering iron, apply a bit of tin to the tip of the spearhead and remove the excess, for example, with brass shavings. The resulting layer of tin protects against oxidation. It is good practice to tin the spearhead every time you finish a job.
Note !
Cob soldering irons powered directly from a wall outlet should have a plug with a grounding pin and should be powered from a grounded outlet. Lack of grounding of the metal housing of the heater is a risk of electrocution, which in the best case will end up in burns. All Yato brand flask soldering irons have a grounding plug, which is connected to the metal housing of the heater.
