YT-73083
DIGITAL MULTIMETER WITH TRUE RMS
- Wielofunkcyjny miernik cyfrowy TRUE RMS
The YT-73083 Universal Meter with TRUE RMS function and manual range for each measurement allows you to perform basic and advanced electrical measurements. Measurement of AC and DC current up to 20 amps distinguishes the multimeter from other devices, and the large screen with blue backlight will make the result visible even in difficult lighting conditions.
Basic measurements:
- AC voltage measurement: A.C. 0-600 V, TRUE RMS
- DC voltage measurement: D.C. 0-600 V
- alternating current measurement: A.C. 0-20 A, TRUE RMS
- DC current measurement: D.C. 0-20 A
- resistance measurement: 0-20 MΩ
- diode test: IF 1mA, UR 3.3 V
- circuit continuity test: 0-100 Ω
Additional measurements:
- capacitor measurement: 0-20 mF
- measurement of current frequency in 230 and 400 V domestic installations: 50-60 Hz
- temperature measurement: -40 to 1000°C
- hFe transistor test: 0-1000, built-in measuring socket
Measurement accuracies:
Example of accuracy determination for AC voltage measurement. Calculations for the measurement result: 235 V
- Measurement accuracy of YT-73083 meter for this range is : ±(1.2% + 8), resolution 0.1 V
- calculation of measurement error formula: (measurement result x 1,2%) + 8 x resolution
- calculation: (235 x 1.2%) + 8 x 0.1 = 2.82 + 0.8 = 3.62 V
Actual result including measurement error for 235 V indication = 235 ± 3.62 V
- Result including measurement error for DC voltage measurement indication: 12 V = 12 ± 0.126 V
- result including measurement error for AC current measurement indication: 8 A = 8 ± 0.15 A
A table with the resolution and accuracy for the measurement can be found in the user's manual.
Built-in functions:
- TRUE RMS - a meter with this function displays the true rms value of AC voltage/voltage. Unlike averaging meters, devices with true rms show the correct value not only for sinusoidal waveforms, but also for sinusoidal waveforms distorted, such as by higher harmonics, or square or triangular waveforms. A must-have function wherever impulse power supplies, motor inverter drives, HVAC systems, etc. appear in a circuit.
- SELECT - change of measurement mode, e.g. change from diode test to circuit continuity test, when the knob is set to AC 600V voltage measurement change to frequency measurement in home installations
- DATA HOLD - keeping the currently measured value on the display
Additional information:
- LCD display, maximum displayed result: 1999
- backlighting of the screen
- audible signal in the test of circuit continuity for resistance below 50 Ω
- possibility to enable diode and circuit continuity tests separately
- measurement probes and temperature probe included
- construction with overload protection
- ABS plastic housing + so-called holster, i.e. rubber casing to protect the meter from mechanical damage
- automatic shutdown of the meter after 15 minutes
- low battery indicator
- power supply: 9 V (6F22) battery
Attention!
When measuring unknown values with a meter with manual range change using the dial, make measurements sequentially from the largest range up to the range giving the most accurate result - otherwise you risk damaging the device.
