DIGITAL MULTIMETER TRUE RMS
YT-73089 universal meter with TRUE RMS function and automatic range for each measurement. It allows you to perform basic and advanced measurements of electrical quantities. The popular case, small dimensions and large backlit display combine high mobility with convenient operation. The multimeter owes its speed, accuracy and repeatability of indications to the modern design of the control board and high-quality measuring probes, the size and precision of which will be appreciated by both hobbyists and professional service technicians. The rectangular wave signal generator will help, for example, in the diagnostics of headphones or speakers, and a special current measurement setting in microamperes will make it possible to test various types of sensors, such as flame sensors in HVAC equipment. The leads of the measurement probes have silicone insulation, which is flexible and resistant to high temperatures.

Built-in functions:
- TRUE RMS - a meter with this function displays the true rms value of AC voltage/voltage. Unlike averaging meters, devices with true rms show the correct value not only for sinusoidal waveforms, but also for sinusoidal waveforms distorted, such as by higher harmonics, or square or triangle waveforms. A must-have function wherever pulse power supplies, motor inverter drives, HVAC systems, etc. appear in a circuit.
- Waveform generator - setting the knob to generate a signal will cause the meter to generate a rectangular wave of frequency from 50 to 5000 Hz. The signal can be used, for example, to diagnose loudspeakers, or to check the low-frequency tracks of a radio
- AUTO - automatic adjustment of the measurement range. When measuring unknown values with a meter with manual range adjustment using the dial, make measurements sequentially from the largest range up to the range giving the most accurate result - otherwise you risk damaging the device. On the other hand, in the case of a multimeter with the AUTO function, you only need to make one measurement and the meter will automatically find the optimal range. The meter starts by default in AUTO mode
- RANGE - manual change of the measurement range. A useful function when checking many of the same components with a known value, such as a series of resistors. Manual setting of the range will reduce the time of such measurements significantly
- SEL - change of measurement mode e.g. from AC to DC voltage measurement
- DATA HOLD - keeping the currently measured value on the display
