Universal clamp meter with TRUE RMS function, with automatic and manual ranging. It enables basic and advanced measurements of electrical quantities to be made. With the tongs, both DC and AC current can be measured in the range from 10 mA to 1000 A. The measurement takes place without disconnecting the circuit or disconnecting it from the power source. The meter allows a much higher current to be measured than conventional electrical meters. The probe cables have silicone insulation that is flexible and resistant to high temperatures.

- aC current measurement: A.C. 0-1000 A, TRUE RMS (40-1000 Hz)

- resistance measurement: 0–60 MΩ
- diode test: IF 2 mA,UR 3.2 V
- circuit continuity test: 0-50 Ω
Additional measurements:
- capacitor measurement: 0-100 mF
- frequency measurement: 0-10 Mhz

- non-contact AC voltage detection: NCV

Measurement accuracy:
Example of accuracy determination for AC current measurement. Calculations for the measurement result: 30 A
- the measurement accuracy of the YT-730933 meter for this range is : ±(2.5%+10), resolution 0.01 A
- calculation of measurement error formula: (measurement result x 2%) + 30 x resolution
- calculations: (30 x 2.5%) + 10 x 0.01 = 0.75 + 0.1 = 0.85 A
Actual result including measurement error for a 30 A indication = 30 ± 0.85 A.
- result including measurement error for the AC voltage measurement indication: 235 V = 235 ± 2.85 V
- the result including the measurement error for the indication of the DC voltage measurement: 12 V = 12 ± 0.146 V

Built-in functions:
- TRUE RMS - a meter with this function displays the true rms value of the AC voltage or current. In contrast to averaging meters, devices with TRUE RMS show the correct value not only for the sinusoidal waveform, but also for sinusoidal waveforms distorted, e.g. by higher harmonics, or square or triangle waveforms. A must-have function wherever switch mode power supplies, motor inverter drives, HVAC installations, etc. appear in a circuit.
- NCV - non-contact AC voltage detection by inductive method. The meter detects the presence of voltage in an insulated wire and can also indicate the phase wire.
- LINE - contact AC voltage detection, works like a traditional sampler. When the measuring probe is inserted into the socket opening, if a phase is present, four dashes will appear on the display, the signal LED will light up and an intermittent beep will sound.
- AUTO - automatic adjustment of the measuring range. When measuring unknown values using a meter with manual range adjustment via a dial, measurements should be taken sequentially from the largest range to the most accurate. Otherwise, we risk damaging the device. With a multimeter with AUTO function, on the other hand, you only need to take one measurement and the meter will automatically find the optimum range. The meter starts by default in AUTO mode.
- RAN - manual change of measuring range
- DATA HOLD - keeping the currently measured value on the display
- INR - inrush current measurement by means of measuring clamps. The meter will measure the inrush current 80 ms after the device has started up.

Caution!
Current measurement with clamp meters is only performed on a single conductor, a single wire. Fastening the clamps on a multiconductor cable without isolating a single conductor will show an incorrect result or zero current flow.
