SPRAY GUN
The spray gun is used to perform paint work. The factor necessary for the proper operation of the gun is compressed air. Paint from the gun tank and compressed air supplied to the gun, form a mixture of paint particles and air at the outlet of the gun nozzle.
Begin work
Using a wrench, tighten the nozzle. Check the tightness and reliability of the connections of the compressed air supply system. Blow out the supply hose with air, before connecting it to the system. Before using the gun, make sure it has been properlyób cleaned and maintained. Make sure that the coating material tank has been connected in a wayób that ensures a proper seal.
Regulation of spray width
The width and shape of the spray stream can be changed by rotatingót the air nozzle. The shape of the spray jet can be smoothly adjusted from flat to round as needed. The coating material quantity adjustment knob sets the amount of coating material delivered to the air stream. On the other hand, the spray adjustment knob sets the intensity of the coating material-air mixture. It is recommended to set the mixture stream so as to get as small particles of coating material as possible, this will ensure better distribution of coating material on the surface.
Gun operation
When using the gun, you should keep the distance between the gun outlet and the surface to be covered in the range of 10 to 15 cm. Try to guide the gun outlet perpendicular to the surface to be covered. Avoid movementsóin an arc, they will cause uneven distribution of the coating material. It is recommended to apply several thin coats than one thick coat.
Airflow Adjustment
Depending on the type of coating material, the amount of compressed air should be selected by adjusting the air pressure adjustment knob./p>
Replace the nozzle
Make sure to replace the entire nozzle set. The set includes, coating material nozzle, needle and air nozzle
Needle seal
During operation, check the needle seal for tightness. In case of significant wear, the seal should be replaced during the periodic inspection of the gun using a wrench to remove the seal assembly
Cleaning and Maintenance
After finishing work, disconnect the gun from the compressed air system and rinse the tool tank of the remaining coating material. Thoroughly clean the tank of the remaining coating material. Carefully clean the entire transfer path of the coating material. Inaccurate cleaning will reduce the performance of the coating material stream. Clean the air nozzle with a brush dipped in solvent. Never immerse the entire gun in solvent. Never clean clogged orificesóusing hard objectsóas even slight internal damage can adversely affect the spray jet parameters. After washing the gun, apply a small amount of lubricant to the moving parts of the seals. Tighten the nozzle of the coating material to such an extent as to avoid leaks, and at the same time ensure smooth movement of the needle.
