YT-28631
VOLTAGE TESTER
- Uniwersalny tester wykrywający napięcie elektryczne.
The YT-28631 voltage tester is a universal tester thatós capable of acting, among other things, as a traditional próbówk, as well as a wireless voltage indicator. It makes it possible to determine the presence of electrical voltage, detect AC voltage, for example, under plaster, as well as perform a wire continuity test and check the status of batteries or rechargeableós batteries. The presence of voltage is indicated by the illumination of one of the diodesód located in the tester housing.
FUNCTIONS OF THE PRÓBNIK
- Detection of AC voltage by contact method: 70 - 250V
- detection of AC voltage by induction method: 70 - 1000V
- contact method battery check: 1.5 to 9V
- contact method wire continuity test: 0 - 100MΩ
- overall length: 140 mm
- blade width: 3.0 mm
- sound and light signaling (led)
- adjustment of tester sensitivity for induction method: [H]igh - [L]ow
- power supply: 2x1.5V; LR44
CONTACT METHOD
Provides voltage detection, battery check and continuity test. To check the presence of a phase in a socket, set the tester to the [O] position, then insert the tester blade into the hole in the socket. The lighting of the red LED indicates the presence of phase. In this method, it is not recommended to touch the contact located on the side of the handle. Touching the contact does not cause a risk of electric shock, but it increases the sensitivity of the tester and may falsify the indication.
Checking the state of the battery
Set the tester to the [O] position. Then, touching the contact located on the side of the handle, apply the tester blade to the battery terminal marked „+”, and with the other hand touch the battery terminal marked „-”. If the LED lights up, it means that there is still voltage in the battery. The tester allows you to check the condition of batteries or rechargeableós designed to power a variety of electrical devices in the range of 1.5V to 9V. Do not use this method to check batteries or rechargeableós with higher voltage ratings. Do not test batteries or rechargeableós connected to an electrical circuit.
TESTING WIRING CONTINUITY
Set the tester to the [O] or [L] position. Then, touching the contact on the side of the handle, apply the tester blade to one stripped end of the wire, and with your other hand, grab the other stripped end of the wire. When set to the [O] position, wire continuity will be indicated by a red LED. When set to the [L] position, a green LED will illuminate and a beep will sound. It is forbidden to check the continuity of live wiresóin an electrical circuit using this method.
INDUCTIVE METHOD
Allows non-contact detection of AC voltage, róalso under plaster. For example, to check the presence of voltage in an insulated wire, set the tester to the [L] position. Then, holding the blade, bring the metal contact from the gór part of the handle close to the insulated wire. The illumination of the green LED and a beep will inform you of the presence of voltage in the wire under test. You can increase the sensitivity of the method by switching the button from [L] to [H]. This method also allows „non-contact” detection of a break in a live electric wire. At the point of the break, the tester will stop signaling the presence of voltage. Można również odwrócić tester i szukać napięcia za pomocą końcówki grota. However, when searching for wiresóunder plaster, be careful not to scratch the wall.
