TRANSFORMER TYPE SOLDERING GUN
Transformer soldering iron 100w
Transformer soldering iron 79350 by VOREL with high power and in a standard design with spotlighting of the work area.
Power 100W is enough to heat the spearhead from room temperature to about 350°C in 20 to 25 seconds.
Additional information:
- Power supply: 230V
- power: 100W
- diameter of the blade at the point of attachment: 1.95 mm
- possible to use arrowheads: from 1.5 to 2.0 mm
How to take care of the grotto
The soldering iron arrowhead of Vorel 79350 is coated with a material that reduces oxidation of the arrowhead. Pointless overheating and mechanical damage quickly degrade the protective layer, then the tip oxidizes resulting in problems with melting the solder joint. Instead of melting and sticking to the soldering tip, the tin peens and falls off. A proven way to take care of the tip is to tin it. When first warming up the soldering iron, apply a bit of tin to the tip of the mainsail and remove the excess, for example, with brass shavings. The resulting layer of tin protects against oxidation. It is good practice to tin the tip every time you finish a job.
Note !
Transformer soldering irons owe their relatively small size to intermittent mode transformer technology. To maintain the highest performance of the device, it is necessary to follow the rule:
- 12s solder
- 48s break
One time exceeding the soldering time with care of the soldering iron will not adversely affect the continued operation of the soldering iron, especially if you let the device cool down. In an overheated transformer, its efficiency and therefore its ability to heat the soldering tip to the proper temperature decreases. Overheating the transformer also increases the risk of damage. A traditional transformer for continuous operation with this much power would have to weigh several kilograms, and in size would resemble a small welder rather than a handy gun-shaped soldering iron.
