Sds plus hammer drill 620w 3 functions

Universal SDS+ hammer drill useful for any renovation: enables drilling with or without impact (thanks to an interchangeable holder for sds+ or cylindrical drills up to 13mm), as well as forging grooves, tiling and flooring.

Sold in a practical carrying case containing:

  • SDS+ drill bit set (6, 8, 10 mm)
  • chisels (2 pcs: pick and flat)
  • 2 interchangeable chucks:  13 mm self-clamping chuck for ordinary drills, and SDS+ (electro-pneumatic impact) chuck for chisels and impact drills

The percussion energy of 2.4J, is the optimum value for efficient removal of old tile, without worrying about damaging plumbing or cracking partitions.

Capable of drilling in metal and wood without impact, as well as driving torx-tipped screws into wooden structures.

A metal drilling depth stop is also included, useful for controlling the depth of the hole, such as when drilling through thin partitions, to prevent uncontrolled drilling through the wall to the exit.

The long rubber cable allows you to easily reach the ceiling height when installing a suspended ceiling or lamp.

Setting the direction of rotation

The hammer drill has a direction of rotation switch conveniently located above the trigger of the unit.

Switch lock

The switch lock is recommended to be used when drilling for long periods of time, such as when drilling in concrete, masonry, etc. To do this, with the switch pressed, press the lock button with your thumb and let go of the switch.

Setting the work type

To set the mode of operation of the hammer drill, there is a switch equipped with a lock. By pressing and holding the lock button, you can change the position of the switch.

  • Percussion work function facilitates drilling when making holes in concrete, masonry and hard ceramic materials (hard bricks, stones, marble). To do this, set the impact switch to impact operation, the symbol for drill and hammer
  • when drilling holes in other materials, the impact drilling function should be turned off by setting the switch to non-impact work, drill symbol
  • it is also possible to set forging function, in this mode the rotation is disconnected, but the impact is not disabled. To do this, set the mode switch to the forging position, hammer symbol
  • The hammer drill is equipped with a chisel position change function. The function is useful for forging with different insert tools, it allows you to set the chisel in any position

Replaceable drill chuck

The hammer drill is equipped with the ability to change the drill shank. Instead of the shank that allows you to mount an SDS Plus drill bit, you can install a chuck that allows you to mount cylindrical shank drill bits.

Key features of the Sthor 79054 hammer drill:

  • electropneumatic impact
  • 3 functions: hammer drilling, non-hammer drilling and shoeing
  • long rubber cable
  • Long rubber cable. li>2 chucks included allowing you to drill with any type of drill
  • .functional case that allows you to keep the tool tidy and clean
  • copper motor winding
  • audar of 2.4J
  • chisels and drill bits included

The hammer drill has infinitely variable speed control of the spindle and, thanks to disconnection of the impact function allows drilling in materials such as wood, metal and plastics.

The hammer drill is equipped with a clutch to prevent overloading of the electric motor, in case the insert tool is stopped as a result of the work. For example, in the event of encountering a rebar. In such a case, the drill will stop rotating, although the electric motor will continue to work.

Set contents:

  • Mill EUROTEC 2600

  • SDS+ flat chisel
  • SDS+ chisel
  • SDS+ handle/head
  • self-clamping chuck/head for regular drills

Examples of use:

Drilling in wood

Before drilling a hole, it is recommended to fix the workpiece with carpenter's clamps or in a vise, and then use a punch or nail to fix the drilling location. In the drill chuck, fix the right drill bit, determine the speed, connect the drill to the mains and start drilling.

Drilling in metals

Always securely clamp the workpiece and use drill bits for steel. When drilling in white iron, it is recommended to use carbide-tipped drill bits. When drilling larger holes, it is recommended to drill a smaller guide hole beforehand.

Drilling in ceramic materials

Select drilling with impact or drilling without impact with the operating mode switch. During operation, use regular breaks to prevent the hammer drill and tool from getting too hot.

Remove the hammer drill and the tool

Percussion drilling is recommended only for compact ceramic materials such as concrete, hard brick, stone, etc.  Percussion drilling is not recommended for ceramic materials with loose structure such as tile, soft brick, plaster, etc. Percussion drilling in such materials may damage the material.

Cutting

Attach the desired tool to the tool holder: chisel or punch and set the work type switch to the forging position. When forging, do not drive the insert tool too deeply into the workpiece. Forge the material in thin layers, without exerting too much pressure on the hammer drill.

Cutting holes

The hammer drill can be used to make larger holes in wood, using special fixed-diameter drills or interchangeable bits from a set of saws - hole saws.

Hole cutting

Depth stop drilling

The delimiter can be used to facilitate drilling in surfaces where blind holes are made, especially in concrete and wood.

Depth stop can be used to facilitate drilling in surfaces where blind holes are made

Set the depth of the hole. Install a drill bit in the chuck, use a marker to mark on the drill bit the distance from the working end of the bit equal to the depth of the hole. Set the depth stop so that its end coincides with the marked distance "L" on the drill. At the set depth, the face of the stop will rest on the surface near the hole, then withdraw the drill bit from the hole.
