Lead-free solder binders are designed for manual and automatic soldering of electronic componentsóin telecommunications, electronics and industrial and automotive electrical engineering. Lead-free binders require higher operating temperatures and are a little more difficult to use, but due to the harmfulness of lead, EU directives recommend their use.
