SOFTSHELL JACKET BLACK-DARK GREY M
Softshell jacket with three pockets fastened with a waterproof zipper.
The material is a modern three-layer and lightweight polyester fabric with spandex, with a special micro-hole structure that blocks water droplets from penetrating inside and at the same time allows sweat to evaporate in the form of water vapor to the outside of the fabric.
The jacket perfectly maintains body warmth with comfortable air circulation and will successfully replace a heavy sweatshirt made of hard-to-breathe fleece. A middle layer of thermoplastic polyurethane laminate will ensure water resistance even in moderate rain.
Basic data:
- material: 96% polyester, 4% spandex
- grammage: 320 gsm
Work organization:
- pocket with waterproof zipper on the left chest
- two pockets with waterproof zipper in the waist area
Additional information:
- TPU lamination is used between the lining and outer fabric
- water resistance of 8000 mm (m² of material can withstand a water column pressure of 8 m - 8000 mm without getting wet)
- breathability 3000 MVP (about 3000 g of water/sweat will evaporate from under 1 m² of fabric to the outside in 24 hours)
- waterproof zipper closure
- sleeves finished with cuffs with Velcro closure
- combining the comfort of use appreciated by ski wear users with the functionality of work wear
Meets the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/425 for category I workwear.
Water resistance:
The parameter so far most often used in ski clothing expresses the resistance of a m² of material to the pressure of a millimeter column of water.
- 0 - 1500 mm - almost zero water resistance, working in dry conditions
- 1500 - 5000 mm - water resistance to light rain and fine snow
- 5000 - 10000 mm - water resistance to moderate rain and snow
- 10000 - 15000 mm - water resistance for heavy rain and snow without much wind
Breathability:
Otherwise known as vapor-permeability, it refers to the fabric's ability to move perspiration in the form of water vapor out of the fabric. The higher the parameter, the more effective air circulation. Values between 2,000 - 5,000 MVP are a compromise between keeping the body warm and comfort in moderate activity conditions, such as construction work.
