Ear defenders YT-74626 with wireless communication module using bluetooth technology. They can be paired with most smartphones, tablets, some laptops, and other devices equipped with bluetooth technology. Four functional buttons on the side of one of the ear cups allow for volume adjustment, answering and ending calls, or changing to the next music track, among other functions.

The ear defenders can also be connected to some smartphones using the included jack cable. Thanks to the built-in AUX port, it is possible to listen to music in stereo system, as well as to hear the caller during a phone conversation (in this case, the voice is transmitted through the phone's microphone).

The YT-74626 ear defenders, when combined with a smartphone, allow for comfortable listening to music in conditions of excessive noise, and can also be used as a headset for phone calls. All kinds of noise, e.g. in workshops with machining, carpentry shops, or production halls, are reduced by up to 29dB.

How to choose ear defenders for the workplace:

Protective ear defenders provide protection for the operator against harmful noise by reducing the sound level measured in decibels by the SNR parameter. The upper limit for an 8-hour workday has been set at 85 dB. If the average noise measurements at the workplace exceed this value, then ear defenders with an SNR parameter that allows for reducing the noise level to 85 dB or less should be used. Assuming that we will work all the time in ear defenders with an SNR of 29 in an environment with a noise intensity of 113 dB, then we will reduce the noise to 84 dB.

If the operator wears ear defenders for longer than a few minutes, it is worth paying more attention to the design elements that improve the comfort of wearing them. Adequately wide cushions made of skin-friendly materials should accommodate the entire earlobe of the user. Soft padding on the headband will relieve pressure on the top of the head. The force with which the ear defenders adhere to the head affects not only comfort but also noise reduction effectiveness, so for continuous work, it is worth choosing ear defenders with a not necessarily the highest available SNR parameter, but with a properly selected one.
