Rolling the earplug in your hands, form it into a cylinder, and then insert it deeply into the ear. Hold the inserted plug in the ear canal for about 30 seconds until it is fully expanded. Using your fingers or in a mirror, check that the earplug has been inserted all the way in. Only the very end of the earplug should be visible or felt.
