AC VOLTAGE DETECTOR WITH LCD SCREEN
The non-contact AC voltage indicator detects the presence of voltage in an insulated wire and within a short distance from it. Voltage detection is indicated by a red LED, a beep, and an indication on the LCD display.
The tester uses the phenomenon electromagnetic induction. The closer to the voltage source, the frequency of the indication increases. When turned on, the sampler operates in low-sensitivity mode, in which the frequency of indication increases when the wire is touched. In high sensitivity mode, the frequency of indication increases about 1 cm from the wire. The tester also allows "non-contact" detection of a break in a live electrical cable. At the point of the break, the tester will stop signaling the presence of voltage.
- Signaling by sound, light (led diode) and LCD display
- Detection of AC voltage by inductive method: 12 - 1000 V
- low sensitivity mode* - detection of AC voltage at a distance of up to 1 cm from the insulated wire, intense indications when the wire is touched
- high sensitivity mode* - detection of AC voltage at a distance of up to 5 cm from the insulated wire, intensive indications up to 1 cm from the wire
- conductor continuity test by inductive method
- two-stage sensitivity adjustment of the tester
- workspace illumination with built-in white led
- tester length: 165 mm
- automatic shutdown of the tester after 3 minutes
- low battery indication
- power supply: 2 x AAA
*distances and sensitivity were determined from mains voltage detection tests ~230V
