INVERTER WELDER MMA 180A
A 180 A MMA inverter welder based on the latest generation of IGBT transistors, with advanced features and a DC TIG LIFT welding option. It uses a breakthrough in the welding equipment market in the form of a specially designed microprocessor that autonomously manages the entire welding process. The reduction of logic circuits and the proprietary sampling of welding current not only reduce the failure rate of the device, but above all make the welding process itself much easier. The ease of achieving a high-quality weld is appreciated by both professionals and those with little experience. Quick and intuitive one-knob control with a click. Suitable for rutile, cellulose and alkaline electrodes.
Designed by our factory and manufactured in Taiwan, the microprocessor is based on the ARM4 architecture in 55 nm technology, clocked at 200 Mhz in 32-bit. It enables the latest generation of transistors to be controlled at speeds of up to 70 kHz, almost twice the speed of comparable devices. It has a proprietary solution for analysing welding parameters at approximately two hundred million times per second. It removes the need to place additional circuits for functions such as ARC FORCE, ANTI STICK or HOT START. The absence of additional circuits means that the impact of interference generated in the current transformation process on welding quality is marginal, unnoticeable to the user.

Description of the function:
Real hot start - when the electrode is applied to the material to be welded, the welder increases the welding current for a fraction of a second, making it much easier to strike the arc. The YT-81357 model allows the function to be adjusted from 0-10% and its duration from 0.0 to 1.0 seconds. The experienced welder will use the adjustability to work with cellulose and alkaline electrodes.
Real Arc force - adjusts the arc dynamics according to the distance of the electrode from the workpiece. The multitasking microprocessor used in YT-81357 examines the welding parameters approximately two hundred million times per second. It analyses the measurement results in real time. Then, controlling the transistors at up to 70,000 times per second, it increases or decreases the welding current. Everything happens in a fraction of a second, and the aim of these actions is to obtain the best quality welding source for a given current setting. The YT-81357 model has a 0-10% parameter adjustment for this function. An experienced welder will take advantage of the adjustability to work with cellulose and alkaline electrodes.
Anti stick - cuts off the welding current when the electrode is short-circuited, allowing the electrode to be detached from the weld material.
VRD - the function lowers the idle voltage from around 60 V to a safe level for humans. Despite the significant impact on security, the function is often deactivated by users. The reason for this is due to problems with arc ignition, especially among those with little experience. Most inverter welders test the output current using analogue sensors, which telegraphically increases the response time and consequently makes arc ignition more difficult. The microprocessor in the YT-81357 does it differently. It generates a waveform of approximately 200 MHz in the welding current circuit. It examines, in real time, the deformation of the run, which varies according to the welding stage in question. The moment the electrode touches the workpiece, it is detected in a fraction of a second, then the VRD function is switched off, at the same time HOT START starts. The problem of arc ignition does not occur. The YT-81357 has the ability to switch the VRD function on and off.
Protection against overload and overheating (fan on demand) - the microprocessor in YT-81357 tests the temperature of critical components in real time. Depending on the temperature, it controls the fan speed first, but when the temperature reaches too high a level, the microprocessor smoothly reduces the output current, allowing the electrode to burn out or the weld to be terminated in a controlled manner. In most welding machines on the market, the moment of overheating means that the welding current is immediately switched off, often ending up with the need to make mechanical adjustments to the parts being welded. This problem does not occur with YT-81357.
